I’m embarking on an exciting journey from the world of retail management to the dynamic realm of IT, with a keen focus on cybersecurity. This blog serves as both a learning platform and a showcase of my goals and achievements. Here, I’ll document my progress and share insights gained from my studies. Through this journey, I hope to inspire others who are considering a career change or are passionate about technology like myself

For the better part of my professional life, I’ve thrived in the fast-paced environment of retail management, honing my skills in leadership, problem-solving, and customer service. However, my passion for technology and the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity has led me to pursue a career change. After hours, I’m immersing myself in the world of IT, dedicating my time to self-study and acquiring the necessary skills to transition into this new field. Currently, I’m working towards obtaining the CompTIA Network+ certificate, followed by the Security+ certification. These milestones are not just checkboxes on a list; they represent my commitment to mastering the fundamentals and advancing in cybersecurity.

I am a highly self-motivated individual who consistently strives to expand my knowledge. I thrive on acquiring new skills and have a proven track record of quickly mastering them. For instance, I took the initiative to teach myself how to dual boot into Linux Mint, demonstrating my aptitude for tackling technical challenges. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in continuously expanding my knowledge base, such as through creating and managing my own blog. My passion for learning and self-motivation drives me to excel in every task I undertake.

While my professional experience lies in retail management, I have developed strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills that I believe are transferrable to the IT helpdesk environment. My ability to handle diverse tasks in a fast-paced setting has equipped me with the adaptability necessary to excel in a dynamic IT support role and beyond.
